Holidays, children, camping and swimming pool
It is not just a logistics issue.
The emotional part of the holidays takes center stage when children are involved; Finding a family camping with swimming pool suitable for children is usually a great start in preparing for vacations.
This is how the interest in finding family campings with swimming pool is understood, whether one or several, provided that these facilities are safe and suitable for all ages, such as found in Kim’s Camping.
As adults, while traveling in a group, alone, with a partner or friends, decision making is varied depending on appetites, tastes, expectations and possible previous plans. Factors such as nightlife, gastronomy or sports activities are what usually dictate the nuances of the desired stay.
When traveling with children you have to take into account the daily activity of the children, since the quality of the stay may depend on their pleasure or dislike.
Our pools were designed from the beginning as a gradual scale to meet the needs of children to elderly people, even with reduced mobility.
Our campsite offers a super-accessible children’s pool for babies and children who do not dare to venture into “the pool for the big guys”. With a gradual depth of 0.40m-0.60m it is the ideal space for parents to sit near their children to watch them and play at the same time, there is always someone sitting inside: the heat does not distinguish between ages!
The pool for babies and young children is a short distance from the solarium area, where the sunbeds that we make available to the public are usually located, so you can watch the kids from a more relaxed although close position.
The Splash Pad
It is a surface with non-slip floor that houses different types of water games, from jets to water curtains and the famous water buckets: these, between feared and Wanted, they are one of the best ways to cool down here! Try and tell us…
The truth is that some adults seem to be shy getting into the Splash Pad, but even the most reserved end up having fun with or without their kids.
A client and friend recently pointed out:
This is undoubtedly the most original shower…
Take note, another positive point if your plans go through a campsite with a family friendly swimming pool.
The pool for “the big guys”
The pool has no formal restriction of use based on age, so we leave it up to the parents to allow or not the children to access this pool.
Of course the surveillance service, in charge of professional lifeguards, can have their opinion, but nobody better than the parents to decide.
There are probably few more satisfying things between leisure and duty than teaching your children to swim!
We would love for your children to learn to swim here: between our facilities and the beaches around, water will not be a problem!
You can plan your days perfectly, by staying in a campsite with beach and pool it is possible to have both options to your liking.
The pool was completely rebuilt in 2017, with improvements for the users and in terms of environmental sustainability.
The pool vessel is built, from the beginning, for tranquility and adaptation to all audiences.
With perfectly visible signs on the edge, the pool consists of 2 clearly differentiated parts: the “playground” and the “deep zone”.
The play area has a depth that increases very gradually from 1m to 1.45m, so in principle it is the one we recommend by default for boys and girls of a certain age, sufficient height or who know how to stay afloat with enough security. For small adventurers, of course the use of safety elements such as floats, vests or “bubbles” is allowed.
The deep zone descends markedly from 1.45m to 2.15m, to satisfy the craving of water for young people and adults.
Games and activities in the pool
When it comes time to take out the inflatable castle, people go crazy (basically children, but some adults – you have to recognize it – too).
Fun for everyone, memorable photos and happy moments to remember during the school year. We want to see you next Summer!
When you come, ask about the activities organized from the Kid’s Club, many of them take place in the pool.
As expected, the best time to swim (swim laps) is first thing in the morning.
For the more active public and wanting to exercise with swimming, the proximity of one of the best “Vías Bravas” on the Costa Brava is something worth mentioning, although this is a point that we will develop on another occasion (soon).
